Each of our 107 superbly appointed rooms are designed to make the most of the stunning views. With a choice of two unique interior styles, each room boasts a private terrace or balcony and generous bathrooms finished in cool marble. Flooded with natural sunlight, our rooms have everything you’d expect – air conditioning, Wi-Fi, mini bar, Satellite TV – plus some added extras, like luxurious under floor heating in our bathrooms. Many of our rooms are connecting which make them the perfect choice for a family getaway.

Deluxe double room

Superbly appointed, the Deluxe rooms in our hotel in Mijas, Costa del Sol, are decorated in the warm, rich colours one associates with Andalusia.

Each has a balcony or terrace, offering striking views of the natural backdrop of the beautiful mountains, trees & flowers that surrounds La Cala Hotel. The opportunity to breakfast alfresco or do a little hedonistic sun worshipping should not be missed.

Junior Suite

For those wishing to add a little more space to their stay we have five junior suites in our hotel in Mijas. Generous in size, each is tastefully decorated in an Andalusian style and are set against either the magnificent back drop of the Sierra Ojen Mountains or La Cala’s Campo Asia.

Each suite has two separate areas: salon and bedroom, and are designed to ensure a comfortable extended stay. Adjoining the salon, the open plan kitchen allows for easy of conversation with family & friends while the preparation of a simple snack is underway.

Hydrotherapy Pools

Our indoor-to-outdoor pools are perfectly situated, with breathtaking views of the La Cala Estate and the arresting Sierra de Ojén mountains. These warm pools have airbeds, body and foot jets, neck massage fountains and a geyser, all thoughtfully designed to promote total relaxation and wellbeing.

Hammam

Our Turkish-style steam room is a haven of relaxation. Aromatic oils gently diffuse into the air to help relax and calm the mind.

Herbal Steam Room

Diffusing the purest herbal essences, this beautiful cabin is a little hotter and steamier than the Hammam.

Garden Crystal Sauna

Dry heat of 80º to 90º C is a key element in the cycle of hot and cold bio-thermal treatments. This helps to tone the skin and condition the respiratory and circulatory systems, resulting in deep relaxation of both mind and body.

Experience Showers

A totally different way to cool down! These showers combine varying water pressures and temperatures with evocative mood lighting, fragrances and sound.

Igloo

This ice room simulates the wonderfully crisp artic climate, using ice crystals to cool down and stimulate the body.

Exercise pool

Perfect for an invigorating morning swim or a pre-match warm up, our exercise pool is open all year round.

Kneipp Foot Baths

Meltingly soft sensory foot massage in either hot or cold water.

Tepidarium

Reminiscent of a tropical climate, this warm, slightly humid area has gently heated ceramic loungers designed to follow the natural curves of your body.

Relaxation Rooms

A cooler option to our Tepidarium, our Relaxation Room is a wonderfully calm retreat where you can relax with no distractions. Or you can drift away on one of our private sun decks, tucked away in a secluded corner amongst fragrant orange trees.

La Terraza Restaurant

La Terraza promises to make your evening that little bit more special. Choose to dine al fresco on the patio in summer, amidst the heady evening scent of jasmine, or you might prefer the cosy ambience of our inside dining space and terrace, with stunning views of our floodlit pool area. Showcasing the very best artisan food producers, La Terraza offers European Cuisine with a distinctly Spanish twist. Each dish is designed around one key ingredient – wonderfully fresh langoustines, succulent prime aged beef and presented with imagination and flair. We’ll also help you choose the perfect wine from our generously stocked cellar.

The Club House

With its magnificent views of Campo Asia, The Clubhouse is a buzzing hive of activity. A real focal point for our guests, it has a natural easiness that will make you feel right at home. Open from breakfast right through to evening, The Clubhouse is the perfect pit-stop after an early start on the golf course and the only place to be for that vital post-game analysis over chilled beer and nibbles. We’ve created a broad menu for every taste. Light seasonal salads, our signature Club Sandwich and plenty of tasty options for the kids too.

La Bodega

Relaxed and informal, La Bodega captures the passion and personality that this part of Spain is so famous for. We’re proud of our Andalusian roots and this shines through in our delicious tapas tasting experience. Wafer thin slices of the finest acorn-fed Iberian cured ham, creamy Manchego cheese, fiery hot prawn pil-pil, this is a true feast for the senses. We’ll help you to navigate the menu to create the perfect balance of textures and flavours, or you can take it one dish at a time, at your own pace, paired with a delicious local wine.

The Lobby Bar – Naranjo

Bar Naranjo has the best of both worlds – a stunning patio area with magnificent palms and fragrant orange trees, as well as a cosy interior space reminiscent of the Moorish architecture that defines this part of Spain. Perfect for an impromptu get together all year round, Bar Naranjo really comes into its own as the autumn evenings draw in. Snuggle up in front of a crackling fire with a fine local sherry and the promise of a great evening to come.

Relax, swim a little, read a chapter or two, have that massage you’ve been promising yourself… Pool Bar Limonada is the perfect location for lazy, sunny days. Delicious cocktails and refreshing beers are brought right to your sun lounger. Or if you’re feeling a little peckish you can choose some light bites from the lunch menu.
